Spotify is doing similar. I thought Apple had a rule that you couldn't price in-app payments differently, but maybe it changed at some point?
- JohnTHaller 11y agoWord is Apple relaxed the requirement as otherwise none of these services would permit iOS purchases at all. Basically, Apple changed the rules for specific companies in order to make money. And most iOS users are unlikely to be concerned with the price difference.
