Many people have priorities beyond romantic love. A sense of accomplishment or a sense of ethics can often be more important at times.
- TeMPOraL 11y agoI think that's the point of GP's question. Try to admit to those priorities and you'll be told you're going to waste your life, that you should go and find your True Love instead. Our society seems to be focused on (romantic) love as the meaning of life.
- sebkomianos 11y agoI am not sure about which society you are talking about; the one I live in considers personal success to be much more important than "love".
