I use my slice for this stuff. On a mac, just add the localhost:<someport> to the 'network preferences > SOCKS proxies' and then do: ssh -D <someport> user

I use my slice for this stuff. On a mac, just add the localhost:<someport> to the 'network preferences > SOCKS proxies' and then do: ssh -D <someport> user@slicehost.com
