One has to ask, compared to what?
The same data can be levelled at almost any form of fast food or even grocery store food, such as ADA-bleached flour - which is basically used by every major chain pizzeria in America. And most of these don't entirely apply to McDonalds in other countries which have different regulations on food. "3 days to digest", by what study, and compared to what?
Other stats are nonsensical and meant to sound scary - sodium levels have zero impact on health unless one is salt sensitive due to renal impairment, heart failure, or blood pressure. Most good French fries (even chicken!) are twice fried - has anyone read Food blogs where they try to recreate the perfect fry? A McNugget is mostly corn? How about compared to breading in ANY fried chicken? Etc.
McDonalds is a big target, but it is a complicated and fuzzy space between what should be the responsibility of consumers to eat what they want, governments to regulate food, and producers to not produce what is "unhealthy" (under the assumption that no one else will just do it anyway).
