Our big Django app requires around 10 seconds to reload (running on uwsgi). During this, requests just hang. They do not time out/return errors like 502, but the website is still unavailable.
- piquadrat 11y agoWe have the same problem, only it can take up to 20 seconds. We get around it by taking the instance out of the load balancer during the deploy, and then warm it up with a few requests before adding it back. But it's still very annoying, and I haven't figured out where it spends the 20 seconds.
