People pay what Facebook asks of them, i.e. nothing except ads. It was on those grounds people accepted as their social network. By contributing my content to Facebook I help make it a place for my friends to come to often and for Facebook to sell ads. If Facebook don't like the price the sell their product for, the like any company, have the freedom to change the price. That's why people feel entitled.
