Worldwide Telescope, Photosynth, Surface, HealthNet, .NET, Mediaroom, Natal, Azure, Windows 7, Office 2007+, Sync. And those are just the commercial products. Microsoft also contributes plenty of purely academic research to various tech related fields, including AI research, electronics, and biotech.
