I am a member of the early 40s club. I've had what you call an interesting career. I have delivered technology solutions wherever I have worked and they have on the whole been pretty successful. One of my dreams is to work in Silicon Valley and I have no doubt that I could be successful. However, it's not a goal I am pursuing for various reasons, one of those reasons is the perceived age bias that exists there.
