  I wouldn't say they are offended. Maybe displeased and annoyed.

  They had a deal. Amazon unilaterally renegotiated with no notice or explanation. Nobody likes a sudden deal change, and nobody likes being powerless. I can't understand people getting offended at that. Don't want to hear it? Don't listen.
