What would be the advantage of going nodejs/CLJS over running Clojure (not ClojureScript) on the server? Would it be to have an "isomorphic" app?

- avtar 11y agoI guess one possible reason would be that you could target platforms where Clojure isn't a great fit, like a resource limited Raspberry Pi.
- Skinney 11y agoYou can have an isomorphic app while still using Clojure on the server. CLJ and CLJS can share code using cljc files.
- Scarbutt 11y agoOne reason could be that someone is not familiar at all with java and the jvm but knows nodejs/JS very well.
