It's always a small group of people in my friends list who think it is a great idea to spam everyone they know with this crap. There really should be a setting to ignore all application requests.

I get a huge amount of friends who spam me with this crap. lmao whats even worse is when you're trying to find someone's wall because they have 50bajillion applications on their frickin page. Reality Check: nobody honestly cares about your honesty box! Pirates and ninjas can go to hell! What the hell is the point of a super wall?! I'm not your top friend? Throw your ugly pet rabbits into that pot, there are homeless kids to feed. No, I am not interested in you, I am straight thank you very much. Yeah half those applications are ridiculous. Many people liked facebook cause it was simple/clean, now its almost as bad as myspace.

  Yeah it would be a lot better if on your friends profiles it would only show those the apps that they have installed that you also have installed. At least that way those pirate/ninja/etc. people can stick together and worry about which zombie has the most points. Besides, most of those apps like honesty box require you to install it before you can use it anyway, which makes it entirely useless to me. I'm tired of giving away all my information to any app that wants it. The whole site has massive security issues to give out your personal info at the drop of a hat. You can't even specify which info an app can use. They all can see all of your information.

  Yeah, it's terrible, but at least most of this crap seems to stay within FB, rather than spilling over into my inbox. Actually, by calling it 'crap', I'm probably revealing that I'm not in the target demographic. Ooh, shiny widgets!!

  The real facebook apocalypse will come when they let users theme their profiles. Suddenly there will be animated gifs and marquee text everywhere... and tons of pink and neon green text on black and purple backgrounds.
