Any thoughts on the potential manufacturer liability for software bugs that lead to accidents? Certainly there are a lot of precedents with anti-lock braking systems, cruise control, etc. But this stuff seems like such a massive expansion of complexity of software control I wonder what will go down in the courts when the inevitable happens.
