        Well yes. It implies that she's somehow obligated to perform such favors, since she's handing out t-shirts presumably as part of some sort of job. Imagine if your bank was handing out free t-shirts and you went in and said, "I don't want a t-shirt, just all the money in your drawer." They'd probably call the police!
