- pjmlp 11y agoOnly beaten by Assembly.
- nickpsecurity 11y agoOnly beaten by microprogramming. Only beaten by HDL. Only beaten by RTL. Only beaten by gates. Only beaten by transistor layouts. Only beaten by a mathematical description of the behavior of the particles. Only beaten by emailing an English description of that to a fabless operator in China that nobody's heard of and expecting a working chip. Not sure I can go any further with it.
- nickpsecurity 11y agoOn the other hand, it depends on what assembler you're using as they can be quite safe or secure compared to C: http://www.cs.cornell.edu/talc/ http://www.cs.cornell.edu/talc/ http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/people/nick/coqasm.pdf http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/people/nick/coqasm.pd... http://www.crash-safe.org/assets/plos11-final_0.pdf http://www.crash-safe.org/assets/plos11-final_0.pdf http://mca-ltd.com/martin/Ten15/introduction.html http://mca-ltd.com/martin/Ten15/introduction.html QED. :P
