I'm willing to relocate in Silicon Valley

Hi ! My name is Mehdi. I'm a french RoR developer. I'm willing to relocate in Silicon Valley. As developer, this is my dream. I don't want my dream becomes a nightmare. So, I have few questions: 1- Is it hard to find a job from abroad (as mid-level developer) in Silicon Valley ? 2- Does there is some hidden fees after relocating (rent, taxes, etc..)? 3- In France, the application process (HR interview, CTO/CEO, whatever, etc..) can take up to 1 month depending companies. Is it same in SV? Thanks for you time.
