We're hiring, by the way: http://thegroundwork.com/jobs/ http://thegroundwork.com/jobs/
- cwang912 11y agoDC or remote or what?
- loomin-arty 11y agoRemote is cool, work from NYC or Chicago if you'd prefer an office.
- mudil 11y agoWe are hiring! Billionaire-backed startup is looking for young excited and impressionable individuals to help elect the candidate from the 1990s, so she can push more policies designed by GOOG/TWTR/YAHOO/FB. Your internet will soon look like your endless shopping malls that you see everywhere.
- DrUnderhill 11y agoYay, we're gettin' a Cinnabon!
- untog 11y agoSo, just like most other tech jobs then?
- oh_sigh 11y agoI don't support Hillary, but how is she "the candidate from the 90s"?
- hackuser 11y agoOn one hand, I don't want to put anyone on the spot. On the other, you are working for a political campaign so I think legitimate questions (i.e., not partisan rhetoric) should go with the territory. Also, potential hires might want to consider these issues: 1) How do you feel about the privacy aspects of gathering all this information about Americans, especially potentially sensitive information about their political views? Can people opt out of your data collection? 2) Is the funding for Groundwork effectively more dark money in the election campaign? If so, do you feel that is detrimental? 3) A more technical question: There have been many campaigns on many levels, including Obama's, utilizing similar tools. Why build new bespoke tools from scratch (if I'm right about that)?
- rayscondition 11y agoInteresting, though I'm not much of a Hillary fan, have you considered working with Herman Cain?
