I wonder if modern factory farms are any less barbaric?
- thfuran 11y agoInsofar as they aren't a popular tourist destination for people wanting to watch animals suffer, yes.
- toothbrush 11y agoHowever, i posit that 100 years from now, people will marvel at our disregard for non-humans' rights and dignity. Maybe i'm just optimistic though :)
- eimai134 11y agoThe modern factory farms sound more barbaric, and people refuse to look at them. Many turn their heads away whenever you want to show them something about them - something very ignoble about people who don't want to know what is happening due to the choices they are making.
