I used to not have a bachelor's and thought I was doing fine in my career. Then the Internet came along and every job required filling out an online profile, where people were screened out if they didn't have a degree. So I felt I had to go back. Perhaps some fields are different and a degree doesn't matter, but not mine, and not applying at large corporations.
