the tablet laptop thing is a must if you spend a lot of time in front of a computer. Unfortunately, sometimes you need a keyboard to answer emails and get stuff done.
- scholia 11y agoWhat, a copy of a MacBook with a touch screen, pen operation, a serious GPU, and a detachable screen that works as a tablet running iPad-style apps? Still waiting for a MacBook that does any of that ;-)
- curiousjorge 11y agoI would never be caught with an Apple product built on the backs of millions of Chinese children and women in horrible and tyrannical working conditions. If this turns out to be the same case I will also denounce and boycott it.
- voltagex_ 11y agoWhat makes you think this isn't made in China? It's going to be a similar group of OEMs making the parts.
- voltagex_ 11y agoActually, that does raise the question of what are you typing this post on right now?
- astaroth360 11y agoGood luck avoiding all electronics with parts from China :P
- babuskov 11y agoWhile I agree with the rest, what do you mean by "serious GPU"? GPUs seem exactly the same as MBP offers.
- scholia 11y ago13-inch MacBook Pro has Intel Iris 6100 Graphics, no?
- babuskov 11y agoYes. And Surface has 5200. It's even worse.
- scholia 11y agoMicrosoft compared the Surface Pro 4 with the MacBook Air and the Surface Book with the 13in MacBook Pro. It didn't compare either with, say, a Dell Precision mobile workstation that delivers serious power...
- babuskov 11y agoThanks for clearing that up. I got confused by names and expected "Pro" to mean the same in both camps.
