How would you rather treat your $1500+ piece of technology? I don't throw that sort of money around lightly.
- barrkel 11y agoFor something that's disposable in a couple of years, yeah, I throw it around with fair abandon. That's a large chunk of the reason I bought a macbook air to run Windows on; I didn't want any moving parts (apart from fans) and I liked the solid aluminium design for strength when mixed with a lot of other random objects in a bag. I still have an impression of the keyboard on the glossy screen (from compression), but it's perfectly liveable for a device I only use a few weeks of the year.
