- chiph 11y agoThe computing power in a modern smartphone is amazing, to allow something like that to actually be usable. I imagine some companies might think about equipping their mobile employees with Lumias for when they're out of the office, and the dock adapter for when they're back in the office. Sales, insurance agents, car inspectors - any job where they go on site, but return to the office afterwards.
- spyder 11y agoBut the thing I don't understand is why they don't make it possible to run a full Windows on phones that already has the Intel Atom quad-core CPU which can run full Windows in tablets with good performance. For example the ASUS Zenfone 2 not only has the Intel CPU but 4GB RAM too. It could be just a question of having Windows drivers for the components like the PowerVR GPU.
- JBiserkov 11y agoThere are rumors about a "Surface phone" that will run full Windows. And full Office, etc.
