What percentage of "articles" on the web are valuable enough to be published on their own? One percent? Less? Most sites, including HN, I visit because of the comment sections. Many times the comments are the most insightful part of my interaction.

- eimai134 11y agoI agree with the OP. Vice is pretty much a trash site.
- acheron 11y agoYeah, that's pretty rich coming from a clickbait trash site like vice. I'm not sure I've ever seen a worthwhile article there.
- eimai134 11y agoThat's very true. I find that many of the commenters do better research into the topic than the writer.
