Easy fix 1 - Vote on the god damn weekend. I can't vote because my boss won't give me time off is the sort of shit that should have been on the scrap heap alongside slavery. Less easy fix 2 - make voting compulsory, with a small fine, like $20/$40 for not showing up to vote. Remember I said showing up, not actually voting, since you can simply cast a blank ballot and then leave having done nothing just as if you didn't vote.
