How is 8 years of closed negotiations leading to 2 months of open debate "too democratic"?
- tptacek 11y agoWe're commenting here about the link posted upthread, not the whole concept of trade negotiations. The link claims that fast-track authority is "undemocratic".
- forgetsusername 11y agoIf you don't like it you can vote it down, and all those scary top secret negotiations are moot.
- throwaway2048 11y agoyou, as a citizen cannot infact "vote it down"
- forgetsusername 11y agoBut you most certainly can follow the political process to dissent. And if you can't, that's the real issue, not the TPP.
