Experienced recruiters have people being reluctant to reveal this information, and have experience pushing back on it. Practice being nice and still not revealing it. That is important. If they only will go on with the process if you tell them past salary, move on or make a choice- you really want this job, and will take it for less money because of the experience/ location/ technology/ coworkers/ environment/ etc.
