That's strange. I had the opposite experience. I could no longer read. Specifically I couldn't read my notes in the Notes.app on my iPhone5S after upgrading to iOS9. The text was smaller and the lines thinner. I eventually had to go into the system settings and pick "bold" for the entire OS
