I prefer JSON text sequence (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7464 https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7464). Self healing in the event of any corruption/parser bugs is nice, JSON lines seems like it will have issues finding a valid object start if your data ever contains new lines and you have some issue parsing one of the objects.
