I admit that I have a fondness for learning esoteric languages. That said I've actually gone far enough down the urbit rabbit hole to write a set of tutorials[0]. urbit has a high startup cost and is hampered by a lack of documentation as well as a desire to reinvent terminology as well as a fast changing API to write too. All of which means that it's more suitable for the curious and hobbyists right now. I'm withholding judgement on whether it will manage to succeed despite these.
