Stephenson, 'Anathem' (first 150 pages slow)
- statictype 17y agoAnathem started slow but ended up being one of his better efforts, I think. Like classic Stephenson, it's short on plot but long on details and interesting dialog between characters.
- murrayb 17y agoRe Anathem first 150 pages- if the story had stayed in the Concents then the level of detail may have been justified, but in the end I was annoyed that he spent so long creating the Concents just to throw them away. Editor fail.
