For about half of the 19th century, France was not a republic either.
- ekianjo 11y agoWell the term "republic" is overused, even now 99% of the politicians come from the same class, went to the same school and basically are the same no matter which party they end up in. French elections are really just for show.
- renox 11y agoTrue, but criticisms are easy solutions are hard..
