Does this really need its own forum? The point the author tried, and failed, to make is that you only have value when you fight for it. My brother comes to me several times a year with "ideas". He uses all the same lines "I just need someone to build it" "you should be able to whip it up over the weekend", etc. Most of the ideas are crap, but he has had a few gems. I always ask for 51% ownership and then explain to him that I am inviting him to be a part of the product that I am building. He can leave with nothing, or i could do it myself and retain 100%, or we could work together, or he can get someone else to do it.
