we use ruby and sequel on the backend and if you are interested in that, its great. We're a small shop so you help define your role on the team. Right now we have 2 who are great with ember.js (our front end) and 1 who is outstanding with ruby. We're all working our way through sequel. The app is backed by a postgreSQL database hosted on AWS. Operations? As in devops? Builds, deployments? We have a position like that, but its not in my area. Its rolled into customer service instead of development.
