Just for the record, as a Dutch person, Holland refers to the two provinces North and South Holland and there is more to the country than just that. The Netherlands would be more accurate.
- stevoski 11y agoSorry about that. In future I'll be more careful to write The Netherlands.
- lenocinor 11y agoDon't feel too bad. My sister's husband is Dutch and even he refers to The Netherlands as Holland now and then (as does his family and other Dutch people I have seen). It's not the end of the world.
