My daughter is about to work on a IoT-ish wearable using conductive thread, a LilyPad Arduino board and battery pack. As a school project. I'll report back if she ends up in prison. It's not Texas, but Indiana isn't much brighter unfortunately. (Thankfully the school is more hippy than dippy, and the teachers are aware and excited about the project).
