I used an off the shelf IR touch frame bought from Aliexpress: http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=AS_20150911112236&SearchText=ir+touch+frame http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=AS... All touch inputs fed into Raspbery PI with a wifi dongle.
