iWork is strongly encouraged, but they'll equip you with Microsoft Office if it's essential for your job. At least in my department, there was one piece of software you could never use: Powerpoint. You MUST use Keynote for any internal presentation. If you even say the word "Powerpoint" around the wrong person, you'll get some nasty looks.
