Most of the input they've been showing is drawing and using the stylus. It might not be ideal for programming or writing, but this is going to be ideal for artists, photographers and anyone who wanted a 13" Cintiq.

- comex 11y agoThis is much more portable (since you don't have to attach it to a computer - you can carry it around like a paper notebook), has a significantly higher resolution display, and is not much more expensive (especially considering the difference in internals).
- hodwik 11y agoThere is not a chance in hell this thing is coming anywhere near the Cintiq's 2,048 pressure levels. The Surface Pro 3, for example, clocks in at about 256 levels. Good enough for note taking, not good enough for any serious graphics workflow. Even Wacom's $99.00 "Inkling" clocks in at 1,248 levels. The only serious competitor against Wacom that I have seen is "Huion" out of Shenzhen.

- rdsnsca 11y agoYou did see the Adobe demo? They are bring a new lineup of creative software to the iPad Pro this October.
