What is the opposition arguing for instead? No recess at all? For elementary school students? Ridiculous.
- VLM 11y agoI have grade school kids and the testing regime is brutal and the educational system produces about twice as many teachers as the economy needs so a teacher who's kids don't improve enough on multiple choice tests will have their career destroyed, which means a financial death penalty because the student loans can't be discharged, which means the destruction of their lives and families lives. So its kind high stakes for the teachers.
