What a world where teachers have to not just demand something so basic but have to threaten to strike over it.
- zo1 11y agoI wouldn't quite call it "basic". Just look at all the confusing/opposing anecdotes being exposed in the article and the comment section here. If anything, without more evidence, we might as well chalk-up the pre-school teachers' threats to strike as being self-motivated. I.e. Preschoolers getting more sleep = being calmer = 30mins break for teachers + easier time after nap time.
- Retra 11y agoStill, a 30 minute break isn't something they should have to strike for.
