You only need to read the second sentence of his post. It couldn't be any clearer.
- mikeash 11y agoThat doesn't explain what the difference actually is, merely a perceived consequence of mixing it up.
- punee 11y agoThat's because you're being unnecessarily obtuse. It's fairly obvious what the difference is between not being compelled by the government to give $500,000 you have earned, and being given $500,000 worth of taxpayer money.
- mikeash 11y agoSo you say. But if the net result is the same, then is there any actual difference, or just ideologues being upset because they want people to think of them differently?
