No worries. I'm disappointed when organizations such as FreeBSD have ostensible Codes of Conduct but do not investigate matters consistently and/or give certain contributors carte blanche: it pays lip service to the values it claimed to respect.
- vezzy-fnord 11y agoThe FreeBSD Code of Conduct does not exclude Kip Macy, even in light of his crimes, in any way. Please stop with this holier-than-thou nonsense. You are not the authority to determine who has served their debt and who hasn't. In fact, you have done nothing in this entire thread but poison the well.
- bro-stick 11y agoHolier-than-thou? Exclusion makes it okay? What makes you any more of an authority? Seems hypocritical, doesn't it? Code is only one piece of a project, and can't be divorced from the users and community, because living code is an evolving conversation about human description mapping to system behavior.
