Is it Google's "job" to police websites in this fashion?
- MichaelGG 11y agoFfs yes. Google's entire point of existence is to rank sites. Literally that's the only function of a search engine.
- exodust 11y agoGoogle isn't banning websites, only denying them "mobile friendly" status, which naturally downranks them. Fair enough too. When you click a search result link, you want the information, not a full screen ad that's hard to close.
