Hopefully Google can distinguish them from the "By browsing this site, you accept the use of Cookies [X]"-popups that EU websites have to implement now.
- jacquesm 11y agoHopefully they can't. Maybe that way we can finally get rid of those pop-ups because there will be a very large amount of noise.
- bouke 11y agoSite owners should be punished for those banners, as they could refrain from using third party tracking cookies instead.

- magicalist 11y agogoogle analytics uses first party cookies.
- greglindahl 11y agoThe EU law doesn't specify the mechanism used to inform the user. If you look around at different websites, several mechanisms are used, some more obnoxious than others. Popups are the worst user experience of the lot.
- ascagnel_ 11y agoUnlikely -- those links usually don't contain links to your platform's respective app store.
