It will be interesting to see how much of the "stack" ends up being open and royalty free. Don't get me wrong, open format is great, but only part of the story

It will be interesting to see how much of the "stack" ends up being open and royalty free. Don't get me wrong, open format is great, but only part of the story. That being said, I'm definitely optimistic this is a step in the right direction given the fact that Mozilla is a part of it. EDIT: Actually, looks like they may be proposing full-stack will be open: http://aomedia.org/about-us/ http://aomedia.org/about-us/
