I really wish that BMW would produce a low cost single seat city car that competed more directly with the Renault Twizzy. The i3 is great but for my needs it's honestly way too much and so too expensive.
- tdkl 11y agoAnd why would they ? It's like wishing Apple made a cheap phone.
- Quequau 11y agoI view this being like wishing Mercedes Benz / Daimler would make a Smart FourTwo... which they do.
- tdkl 11y agoBut that's not a Mercedes Benz, it's a Smart. Same as BMW purchased Mini. You don't "pollute" your brand with cheaper products, once you're established like MB and BMW are.
- endianswap 11y agoBut MB did exactly that recently with the introduction of the CLA.

- sschueller 11y agoThe Twizzy is not very low cost and for that is has no windows I wouldn't even consider it a car.
- Quequau 11y agoIt's more than a third cheaper than an i3. It's cheaper to insure. It fits in smaller spaces. The Twizy I test drove earlier this year had windows; they looked stock although I suppose they might have been aftermarket installations.
- lazyjones 11y agoTwizy is technically an ATV ("quad") and doors and windows are available as optional features from Renault.
