As much as I enjoy reading Paul Graham's work, this post is quite derivative. This is a specific case of "karma" or general rule "what goes around come around". Not being a douchebag is a virtue in all aspects of life. As some might say, it is practically newtonian. Of course for a company which has a monopoly in the market these laws don't apply - you don't to have carry about the users nor workers because they have no other place to go.
