The you consider the car hacks, like the recent Jeep one and the bugs like the Toyota ECU issues with unintended acceleration. I don't think that the state of software engineering is sufficiently robust to allow it to drive cars.
- kazinator 11y agoThe state of wetware is also not sufficiently robust to allow it to drive cars. Wetware likes to drink alcohol, distract itself while driving, or take long trips without the sleep it needs.
