- dragonwriter 11y agoI was referring to the title, which suggests that it is the story of how recursion got into programming. But recursion being in Lisp is, in the story, part of the background -- its the story of how recursion got included in Algol 60, not how it got included in programming. That it was already included in programming -- in Lisp -- is part of the background and starting point of the story, and how that happened isn't part of the story.
