In the grand scheme, it's not nothing at all, and treating it as such is how these "nothings" get so damned big in the first place. But again, it's super easy to spend money that isn't yours, to fix problems you don't really understand. It's just not very often useful.

As a percentage of annual budget and or GDP it is a very small amount. And in the grand scheme of is an even smaller amount given the predicted costs of climate change.
