I'd be there for the music and maybe to see the art if I lived in the area.
Suggest providing good beer, wine, mixed drinks, and food trucks or similar food merchants along with some affordable art and t-shirts, since it is an art festival of sorts.
The logo, similarity of the name, and Cinderella's castle spell trouble with Disney folks. It'd be one thing if it were local, but since it got press, that's just asking for it.

The castle there looks amazing, and so does some of the other art.
Good luck!
- simonswords82 11y agoIf I recall correctly the show is only on until the end of September so I doubt Disney will have time to do much about it before it shuts down.
- chillydawg 11y agoImagine the hilarity if they sued? They'd be caricaturing themselves in the best possible way. It would be spectacular to watch.
- celticninja 11y agoPretty certain it would fall under parody/satire so would be protected use, plus given that Banksy is well known around the world I don't see this staying under the radar at all given that the BBC has already covered it. Plus all the commercialisation you suggest would pretty much be the antithesis of what the event sets out to poke fun at.
- joosters 11y agoUK parody laws are not the same as the US. For a start, there wasn't a clear parody defence until around October 2014: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-29408121 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-29408121 However, that law has since been (at least partially) quashed by recent court rulings: http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/jul/17/high-court-quashes-regulations-copy-cds-musicians http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/jul/17/high-court-qu... (It's unclear if the whole of the law is now revoked, or just the personal-use parts)
- lighthawk 11y ago> Plus all the commercialisation you suggest would pretty much be the antithesis of what the event sets out to poke fun at. Providing food and drink is commercialization?
- pointmissed1 11y ago> Suggest providing good beer, wine, mixed drinks, and food trucks or similar food merchants I think you are missing the point.
- lighthawk 11y agoAllow people to BYOB then? You should have alcohol available at an event like this, if you can. And, if you have alcohol, there must be food.
- therealidiot 11y agoWhy must everything these days be about consuming alcohol?
- revscat 11y agoThese days? The hell you on about? As far as we can tell the order of human inventions went: fire, wheel, beer. Humanity consumes far less alcohol today than in the past.
- lighthawk 11y agoEvery event doesn't have to be about alcohol, you're right. But when I think art festival parodying Disney, I think alcohol.
- rawTruthHurts 11y agoYou should read twice the previous statement
- tim333 11y agoBanksy himself on the issue: "I asked myself: what do people like most about going to look at art? The coffee. So I made an art show that has a cafe, a cocktail bar, a restaurant and another bar. And some art."
